Wessex Hash House Harriers
On on the trail since 1979

Wessex Hash House Harriers is part of a world wide hashing organisation which was started in 1938 in Kuala Lumpur (for a full explanation see the history section). Basically hashing is a non-competitive cross country running/jogging activity combining healthy exercise, fun and a pint or two known as 'Down Downs' with friends/hashers in the pub afterwards.

Runs start at 11am every Sunday. Each week we get together to follow a cross-country trail laid by club 'Hares'. The run features numerous false trails and takes us through breathtaking scenery.

The Wessex Hash is a family hash, so children are welcome.

Can't make sundays? Other local hashes run on Wednesdays and Fridays. Don't get it? Find out more on the About Hashing page.
